How much would it cost for blueprints of a house based on a rough sketch?

I drew out a rough sketch of a floor plan for a house I would like to build and want to have blueprints and a 3D computer or digital model made, but don't know the cost.

cost will range quite a bit depending on where you are located.... whether or not you are required to have architecturally sealed drawings ... you can try and use google sketchup and draw it yourself but you may not include everything your builder may need and cause problems when in construction...

I personally draw custom design plans, most of which are based on my clients sketches or ideas based off of other plans that may want to have similar.

email me and I will tell you what I charge by the square foot and what I would include.

I typed my email out that way to somewhat block spam.
Several hundred on up depending on the complexity. Go to an architect in the area where you want to build. They will be knowledgeable on the applicable local building codes. Having to rebild something due to faulty plans can cost more than the plans themselves.
Hello, Take your sketch and ideas to a local building supply company. A lot if not most of them will do the blueprints for you free of charge as long as you buy the material from them. Things are slow and tough all over so they are willing to work with you to get a sale. Good Luck! Greg C.
Download sketch-up 7...its free and you can build a 3D model yourself !~
