Is there a program where I can make my own blueprints for a house?

I would just like to know if there is a program or a website where I can create my own blueprints for a house or building from scratch if there is one available somewhere. If so, that would be nice. Thanks.







I don't know of any free sites but you may want to call a sales rep here: http://chiefarchitect.com/shop/ to discuss your needs and get pricing. I do know they allow a 30 day free trial. It takes quite a while to learn any new software program but the support you receive from this company is really great as well as the help forum. This is something for you to consider when purchasing any CAD program. And, if you are not a certified architect, you will only be able to draw up your dream home to take to an architect lessening your cost.

there are a few programs they aren't cheap there's revit and autocad or you can do it by hand on paper if you are just drafting to wast some time there is also google sketch up that is a easy free drawing program but to get it build they have to meet the building code and local bylaws and have an engineers stamp for the structure

but if you are looking to build the house you'd be better off going to a custom house builder and get them to draft it up and they might be able to show you things that you might not of thought
To have a building built, you HAVE to have an architect's stamp on the blueprints. If you want to, just draw a floor plan, and take that to an architect. He will do the rendering from the floor plan. Won't be cheap.
