ATM blueprints, schematic, and how it is made up?

I am thinking of putting an ATM in my house and was just curious about the blueprints or how an ATM is made up and functions. A blueprint or schematic would be perfect, if anyone knows where I can find them.

Old ATMs gotta end up somewhere. Check with a local recycler of appliances and large metal dumps; he might know where such stuff is sold off in bulk lots. I know ATMs have a security consideration, but it's always possible that somebody palletizes them somewhere. Also check the local university in the Engineering department; those crazy guys always seem to know about the sweetest equipment salvage deals around.
you won't find any blueprints. That is an obsolete (many decades) method of making copies of large paper originals.

Getting or building an ATM is only part of the problem. An ATM is essentially a remote terminal for a bank. I doubt a bank would approve of you having one in your house.

My understanding is that ATMs are basically a PC with specialized peripherals. And I don't think the banks make that information public, as it make it easier to hack into one.
