Where can I find the blueprints for a house in my neighborhood?

I need to see the blueprints for a certain house in Sulphur, Oklahoma that was built sometime in the 40s, and I don't know where to look. It appears to be a duplex, it is symmetrical on both sides except for what may be an addition on the back, so maybe there's a common blueprint for this, just like all the rock houses in town are laid out the same.

You won't. Blueprints are owned by the architect.

If you can find the architect, he may sell you one.
a house that old will probably not have any plans at the city bldg dept. If the addition to the structure is newer than those plans might be located at the city bldg dept.as public record, it all varies from city to city if they keep records. you could also try looking for the structural plans. I would call your local "Building Division" department and ask if you can buy the blue prints to the certain address.....

I would do a search like "City of (your city), (your state), Building Division".. and look up their number and ask the question.

Happy Holidays! :O)
