Where can I get the blueprints of my house?

I live in a small neighborhood house and need the blueprints or floor plan for renovations.

City Hall is the first place to check. If they don't have them physically at that location, they will be able to direct you to the proper place, generally a Zoning or Planning commission of some kind. City Halls generally have a public phone number for inquiries like that, so just phone them and ask them where you can go.
Most US cities have a City Hall, and that is where the original blueprints are kept.
Check the county records. They should have them on file.
from your local court house...(all builders had to file plans before building)
