Nanda Kishore comes up with a plan for Akash to meet Payal at midnight on new year. Akash asks Arnav to come with him to Payal's house but he refuses. Khushi vows not to run into Arnav at midnight due to the romantic belief that whose ever face one sees at midnight on new year they are destined to spend eternity together. Nanda Kishore plans to see Khushi's face at midnight. He pretends to be sick. Akash is disappointed that he cannot see Payal at midnight. Khushi goes to her neighbour's house to give jalebis. Shyam and Anjali plan to have candle light dinner at poolside. Shyam cuts an electrical wire and drops it in the pool, to kill Anjali.
