The brothers yell at their wives for talking about selling the house. Mohan tells the brothers to lie to their wives about agreeing to sell the house as they wanted to buy time to think for a new plan. The brothers are restless as Manjula calls up her friend's husband to sell the house. Manjula is tensed as she fails to find the house documents that Motabhai has already shifted to another place. The sisters-in-law are furious as Mohan tells the buyer that he is the sole owner of the house and has no plans to sell it. The sisters-in-law confront Mohan for stealing the papers from Manjula's room.
