I cannot believe Obama used his military earthquake machine to cause the destruction in Japan…. Just like Bush used his hurricane machine on New Orleans……. it is a sad turn of events.

a bow or crossbow would be a good investment, fishing equipment, sleeping bags, tents, in some situations it may be best to head for the wilderness if things get hairy. while firearms can prove handy sometimes it is best to have a means of weaponry/hunting equipment which is not quite as loud as a gun.plus its much easier to make arrows on the fly than it is to reload/make bullets.

ampat71 – that was very well said !!!! That is exactly the current admin. answer to fixing the economy, Print-Print-Print more money, and keep telling gigantic lies – that everything is going to be alright – if we just keep taking money from the “Haves” and giving it to the “Have-Not’s” that will fix everything… They seem to forget that big business, and the wealthy are the ones who build America’s economic infrastructure, and they employ the rest of us – Thats how Capitalism WORKS !!!!

  7. 407buddy says:

Gov’t Data is a lie and a fraud in cahoots with the Blankfein’s of
WallStreet, manipulating the “American free market”,
high frequency trading, flash orders, naked short selling, on and on
The Goldman’s and Gov’t are in bed, setting the rules to benefit the few
Jobs been exported your labor de-valued to Zero to screw you into debt
Walk away from your CC cards and (underwater) mortgage
FICO scores are a scam to enslave you and keep you in debt
Get out of paper. Don’t be sheeple. Fight back!

There is a very diverse group of people into the preparedness movement. The problem is that the movement has been hijacked by the ultra conservative branch. People like me who aren’t socially conservative and don’t think Obama is a Muslim terrorist (although I’m not a fan), have very little in common with the mainstream, so we sit on the side doing our own thing.

If the group trended away from the political/religious, and focused on actual preparedness it would attract larger audience

  12. deussolinvictus says:

Keep talking about preparedness because it’s on everyone’s radar. I’d rather see EVERYONE talking about it and taking small steps to move toward being ready for hard times.
Oh; you may want to add a firearm to your list if you don’t have one already.

  15. missouriman197237 says:

great video , ill be willing to bet that the unemployed, is alot higher than what they will ever tell , after all u have to count those that have maxed out their unemployed claims , now there isnt a real good way to keep track of them ,
I know this first hand as my unemployed claim ran out this week , and i know i wont be count after this week ,

  16. ampat71 says:

Not to be argumentative, but the REAL numbers of unemployed are probably much higher than what are being reported. They don’t take into account those who have stopped looking for work, nor those who have taken part-time jobs the under-employed people. This is bad, we just have an ability now to PRINT PRINT PRINT money to cover up how bad it really is.

  17. ampat71 says:

They already lost a bunch of it!!! and the rest is spoken for by special interests. Know what that means? NO NEW JOBS!!!!!

  18. thesepipesRclean says:

Obama is destroying the country ? Wasnt Bush destroying it for 8 years ? I remember people saying Clinton was destroying it . The truth is , if you shop at Wal-Mart , drive an SUV , or supported the Iraq war , you are destroying the country . Our military budget has bankrupted us, Wal-Mart has crushed the small business man and our dependence on foreign oil has weakened our economy and polluted our environment . Take some responsibility , we all got us into this .

  19. UGetStabbed says:

Them stealing the stimulus money is GUARANTEED!! Forget all the hoping. Eventually you will see it enough so that you come to expect it.

  20. PhuckHue2 says:

capitalism is either boom or bust. we just have to wait out the bust. capitalism is the still the best system. I just hope they don’t steal all the stimulus money

  21. multitransparent says:

People has to grow up, educate themselves and face the consequiences of electing Obama…. the puppet… who is desteoying the Great country which he hates!!!! Making slaves out of honest, decent, hard working people.. so sad and scary!!!!!!!!!

  23. deppdelver says:

Hi Reginald, Little old lady school teachers (black and white ) here in Memphis are also discussing being prepared. Everyone needs to take responsibility and be prepared but maybe more important than canned goods and water will be the community that we build right where we are. Keep up the good work.

  24. bweazel says:

    Great vid.

  25. bweazel says:

Unemployment is measured by people who want jobs, but can not find them. It’s mostly guest work, but the can give you stats on how many people file for unemploymeny compared to last week. Women did not want or even need jobs back then, for the most part. Unemployment will probably double in this market.
