@Will224000 Pt. 2 he’s been in office. As bad as spending got under Bush, Obama has quadrupled it. Watch my video. /watch?v=5SpxiT5jkPA check my facts. do the math. don’t just listen and follow someone because their workd make you feel good. The truth usually hurts, I know, but, no pain, no gain as they say.

  2. buisyman says:

@Will224000 Pt. 1 I agree with you, we should have let them fail. ALL of them, including GM, Chrystler, Ford, GE, all of them. THIS is what happens when government is in control of things they don’t understand. Those bonuses were contractual obligations, in some cases. You’re partly right, but the fact remains that this current administration added over 1.1 tril to the 500+bil that Bush was adding to the national debt. total=1,6+tril per year added to the deficit under Obama every year

  3. buisyman says:

@Will224000 Might I remind you that Morrison died from a drug overdose? This is 2011 America, not 1917 russia, dude. Class warfare is stock and trade for communists, and we saw how well that worked in the U.S.S.R. Are you saying you want to take the communist road to get what you want? That’s pretty selfcentered and childish of you………Grow up

  4. buisyman says:

@l0gically Um, pardon me, but the problems we’ve been having for the last 30 years or so aren’t because of trickle down economics, but liberal plans like the community reinvestment act, which forced banks to give loans to those who couldn’t repay them. Remember which banks failed first? Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. They also had the biggest “Golden Parachutes.” You liberals always try to point the finger at others, but there are 3 fingers pointing back at yourselves.

  5. l0gically says:

@buisyman Thirty years isn’t long enough? Trickle-down has NEVER worked and never will. The reason is simple – when the rich get (more) money, trickle-down puts the economy at their mercy. They can leave the money sitting in a foreign account, OR they can do something that will provide some value to the greater economy. It all depends on what’s best for *them* – not the rest of society. The top 5% have 40% of the wealth – where is this trickling down? Here’s a hint: it isn’t.

  6. Will224000 says:

@buisyman …Reagan’s ‘Trickle Down’ is the Super Rich pissing on the Middle Class…

…in the words of Jim Morrison, ” They got the guns but WE got the numbers”…

…this is not going to end well for the Upper Crust…

  7. Will224000 says:

@buisyman …the Wall Street bonuses came out of our pockets as a reward for crashing the economy and getting away with it… those banks got TARP funds… we still have to pay it back… we should have let them Fail then we wouldn’t be debating the Debt Ceiling in Congress…

  8. buisyman says:

@Will224000 Um, excuse me, but the wall street bonuses DIDN’T come from the government, dude. They came from Corporations willing to pay them. why did Obama bail out failed corporations like Ford, GM, Chrystler and GE?
Besides, didn’t you ever learn that that whole thing about “grandma eating catfood” was a lie? Have you EVER checked the price of catfood? A can of tuna is much, much cheaper. That whole thing was a fake to get your emotions stirred.

  9. buisyman says:

@l0gically Pardon me, but if you look at the states that are the most liberal (like California and New York) and compair them with the most conservative (like Texas), You’ll find something very interesting. Liberal states have the highest cost of living (due, in part, to the high taxes), and the greatest gap between the rich and the poor. Liberalsim in government breeds poverty. trickle dowm economics actually works in the long run. The problem you’re having is you expect an instant fix.

  10. l0gically says:

@buisyman “ust WHO has the “my way or the highway” attitude?”

Boehner. He’s the one that got up and walked out. Almost ALL of the proposed spending cuts were cuts to domestic spending. Despite the HUGE wealth disparity in this country that has quadrupled in the past 30 years, along with a completely FAILED trickle-down economic policy, he refused to consider any tax increases on his rich pimps.

  11. buisyman says:

@Fringe111 If that’s not what you’re saying, then what is? Be specific, please. I can’t give clear, concise answers to generalities.

  12. buisyman says:

@l0gically Excuse me? Just WHO has the “my way or the highway” attitude? Who is it that hasn’t even presented a plan for anything? Who is it that won’t even let anything from the house on to the Senate floor for a vote? Who was it that said he’d veto ANYTHING that came from the Republican held house? You’ve been had, dude. someone has reached into your brain and twisted it to their liking.

  13. buisyman says:

@Will224000 Why? why do we need a “safety net”? We didn’t need it BEFORE we had it. With the exception of those who are severely disabled, Poor people are poor because of the choises they made. I know, I used to be one of them. fortunately for me, there was no safetynet. I was forced to do for myself, even though I have some certain physical problems. Now I have a good job making good money. Not great money, but good enough to live on comfprtably.

  14. VoLCoMzYaDiGG says:

the question is… will we default, probably not, the GOP are too greedy, same goes for the dems. I just hope we default so we learn from our own stupidity. If it takes a disaster to make us learn then so be it. Im 17 and IM GOING to have to deal with this shit in the near future. Fix this fucking problem. The current generation of leaders are awful, greedy, homophobic, racist, etc. They want more power, and with that they control us and will only want more. We must stop them NOW!

  15. thenewmike2012 says:

The GOP is getting EXACTLY what they voted for back in Nov 2010. A group of KKK members and supporters that traded in their white sheets and hoods for business suits and nice hair cuts, sent them to the Republican Congress as the “Tea Party”. The TP war against Obama has begun and the first Tea Party casualty is the full faith and credit of the US Govnt. The TP Repubs would see our country crash and burn before they compromise with the President and do what is BEST for our country. Shameful!

  16. Fringe111 says:

@buisyman That’s not what I’m saying. There are 2 days left to deadline. Nothing can be done in that short amount of time. If you want to change things, that debate can be had after we pay our bills.

  17. Will224000 says:

@buisyman …there has to be a safety net at the bottom… desperate, hungry People will resort to non- civil means to feed their families… what we need to lose is the Billionaire safety net… there are Many more of us than them… and if you are reading this, you are one of US… do you stand with the People or the Bankers ?… stand with us, they do not give a hoot about you…

  18. buisyman says:

@Will224000 OK, so why are they so afraid to sign a Balanced Budget Ammendment? Or cut spending right now? Obama and the Democrats have added well over 1 tril to the national debt every yearr since he’s been in office. That doens’t sound like someone who wants to cut spending.

  19. buisyman says:

@DeaDlyK3viN So I’m dumb, huh? I guess you don’nt realize that that’s all we’ve been doing. Especially under Obama. President Obam, since he came into office has raised the amount of money spent on social programs and lowered the amount of money spent on national debt. I didn’t know that until I did a Google search on the national debt. I suggest you do the same before you make any more baseless accusations.

  20. buisyman says:

@Will224000 Yea, but end ALL welfare. Corporate and otherwise.

  21. Will224000 says:

@buisyman …Democrats Do want to quit spending… on Money Sucking Wars…
…maybe give Wall Street CEO’s more bonuses while grandma eats cat food ?…

  22. l0gically says:

@buisyman I guess they’re finally growing a pair and getting tired of the “my way or the highway” mentality of the republicans.

  23. l0gically says:

@jkkshjr I mean to give you a thumbs up.

  24. Will224000 says:

@MrSethAction …by this you are meaning throwing money at the Bottomless Pit that is our Banking System ?…

  25. Will224000 says:

    @11301920 …Exactly ! End Corporate Welfare !…
