Today we're going to show you how to build an earthbag wall step-by-step. The main thing is to use good technique so that the wall is strong, level, plumb, and square. If you just pile the bags at random, it won't be nearly as strong as what we're going to show you today. One of the main things we're trying to show here is good building technique so that the wall is very strong. You can think of this like large bricks that overlap each other, that overlap at the corners. If built correctly, this is extremely strong and can withstand an earthquake or hurricane. You can make dome and arch structures out of them.
So what about the roof system. Looks to me like the first tornado that comes through will rip this building apart. Same for a hurricane. Also, I noticed the inside walls aren’t covered. Wouldn’t his add to the structures strength?
