I love this and it reminds me of how I started my career. I started my adult life in a hostel for homeless teenagers and all that time ago I decided I MUST get out of here and do better. I told myself over and over “whatever it takes!”

15 years later I am now a successful entrepreneur and any new venture or goal I have now I tell myself “I must do this” and remind myself “Whatever it takes!”

Eight minutes to say:”If you want something, you’ve got to know what it is”?And to make a criminally superficial comparison between a penniless alcoholic and great Anthony Robbins(implying that the greatest difference between an alcoholic and a “successful” individual is merely shitloads of money)?Talk about clarity… They don’t pay this guy and you don’t listen to him because of his clarity but because of his “special” and “ineffable” vagueness.Do you esteem this guy?

  5. theburt83 says:

@revolverblast Well, instead of buying someone’s bullshit, ask yourself how he achieved his success (and by success you mean nothing more nor less than money, I bet). Was it buying bullshit, as you’re doing? No, it was _selling_ bullshit. You can’t be him as long as you listen to him. It’s just the opposite.

  6. loniaatkinson says:

@mballzhari But money isn’t responsible for that, people are. That’s as bad as blaming guns for shootings.

    This guy is amazing!

He inpired us to create a simple and intuitive platform, tapTank, for helping people achieve goals by collaborating with their friends on social network.

In a matter of months, everyone will be using the powers of motivation and friendship :)

@ryanchandler25 @ryanchandler25 Poor ryan. He listens to a man speaking perfectly clear simple English delivering a very simple message and he completely misses the point. In fact all of the negative comments are the consequence of missing the point and not understanding the message. Cmaglim is the saddest. Here is a guy seeking a masters degree of all things. He listens and watches Robbins for 8 minutes and doesn’t understand any of it. This is how resistant the human mind is to change.

  12. vitalodion says:

@revolverblast Lol same here, mabe if we’ll try long enough we’ll make it..

  13. revolverblast says:

I want to be as successful as this guy.
I dream of becoming a millionare or even more!
I’ve been reading his books and Trump’s books.
I don’t want to live in luxury but I want to achieve this success.
But I don’t have anything right now. I’m just a typical college student. :/

  14. Cmaglim says:

@nycbassist76 i’m currently doing my masters at the London School of Economics. I don’t think lack of understanding is the problem lol. If you actually analyze the structure of his lecture as a whole, as opposed to being persuaded by the emotiveness of certain soundbites, he doesn’t in fact offer a single piece of practical advice; only theoretical advice which amounts to a restatement that we ought to be clear and purposive.

  15. nycbassist76 says:

@Cmaglim it was pretty clear to me…don’t blame the video for your lack of comprehension and intelligence

  16. sperckensiedoitch says:

  17. ryanchandler25 says:

  19. neelonghunglow says:

    What ever you say troll…

  20. Cmaglim says:

this lecture was neither clear nor purposive. just a collection of words told by a big guy.
