Beyond is the grand room with bowed wall and banquet hall with an arcade of columns. Up one half level is the library with a Juliet balcony. The elegant master suite opens to the rear terrace and includes a fireplace,sitting room and spa bath with a two-level wardrobe closet. The kitchen opens through to the breakfast room, family room and a see-through fireplace. On the porch one finds a fireplace and grill. The butler pantry, home office, friend's entry and elevator round out the main level. Up the 10' wide stairs French doors open to a sleeping porch and summer kitchen. Another master plus three other full suites open to a TV room home office and a captain's walk. Effectively drawing a line between the home's utilitarian spaces and its more public areas is a rear service hall that runs from the three car garage behind the kitchen to the keeping room. The utility area on a separate hall system, which separates them from the living areas. Also adding visual interests are varied curvilinear and angled walls, from curves of the sunroom, grand room, dining room and sitting area to the slanted sides of the home office and princess suite.
