Eldoret north Mp William Ruto was today grilled by the criminal investigation department, CID for his alleged role in the 2008 post-election violence. The former minister was questioned over claims that he had guns in his house and distributed them to his supporters before and during the electoral violence. He was also questioned over claims that he hosted a number of retired army generals in his house to allegedly plan and execute the violence.
